The FA scan I have done on Monday day was fun… It took us almost an hour to get all the measurements done because I have an active baby whom kept moving inside while the lady was doing the scanning. We are all 100% confirmed that my little Ah Dou is a baby boy and I finally saw his “xiao jiji”. Teehees. =p

My super mischievous Ah Dou keep refuses to show us his face when the lady needs to take measurements for his nose bone and lips. Its either he keep pressing his face down, towards my body else when he finally turn around, he would use his little hand to cover his face. >.<’’’ Most of the time was spend trying to adjust his head position, asking him to turn his face around etc… in the end he only turn a little and we managed to roughly measure his lips and nose bone due to the position wise.

However mischievous little Ah Dou gets, his daddy and I still loves him so much. =D I would say his daddy loves him so much too because his daddy is always very willing to find time just to accompany me to the Gynae. And throughout the whole scanning, he would listen to the lady attentively and keep his eyes to the screen while wearing that smile on his face. Ahhh… my 2 precious loves, the father and son seems to be doing great with their bonding.

Anyway, my Ah Dou is doing very well so far. =) He’s growing healthy with the proper growth of his organs as we can see his little kidneys, bladder, stomach, bones, brains… etc from the scan. And according to the report, little Ah Dou currently weights about 412grams. I heard from the lady that Ah Dou is of average size of what a 21weeks old fetus should be. Hehes. Glad to hear my little Dou is not very small nor skinny. =p

Every time after seeing my little Ah Dou, the excitement of being a mommy would kicks in… and this time the feeling gets stronger, so much after doing the FA scan. Thus I decided to start preparing for our little Ah Dou’s arrival earlier. Everyone around me has been telling me that I am too early… but goodness, its already past 5 months and being his mommy, I have yet to get him anything.

The thought of it somehow makes me feel that I am a rather useless mommy for I don’t know what am I suppose to get for my little son who’s coming to earth in about 4 months plus?! I don’t know what he would need to use etc… Shall come out with a list of “must-buy” items soon… suggestions regarding this is greatly appreciated. =)

So yesterday I met up with Wandee Sis to Bugis and shop a little through all the baby stuffs in BHG, OG and the wholesale centre which Yiling has mentioned to me. And after hours of shopping, with much temptations and resisting it, I bought 3 rompers that’s on discount for my little Dou, 1 dozen of handkies, half dozen of those shorts and singlet that has many ‘holes’ on it.



All the clothes I bought are of bigger size, the kiasu me, afraid of wasting money hence I bought those clothing for 6months old and above infant. Wahahahhas! I very kiasu right?! =p More clothes to come and of course I would be very grateful if I managed to get old clothes from other babies. =) Can help me save my pocket hole from growing bigger. Hehe!

Besides getting stuffs for our little Dou, how can I not reward myself a little too?! As I cannot resist myself from shopping at Bugis Village, I end up getting myself 2 new clothing to add on to my maternity apparel.





Poor me, since my tummy started showing, 90% of the clothing in my wardrobe has grew smaller on me. 5% of which are dresses that I dislike wearing. 5% remaining (that includes the purchases from JB the other time for my maternity apparels) are the only one that can still fit me. Hence I don’t think it’s a waste that I bought 2 new pieces, what’s more I still can wear them after my pregnancy. But weirdo me, I still felt guilt of spending so much money at the end of the day. =/

Anyway, anyway, before I end my post, here’s my latest pic of my sexy tummy. =p
