Congratulations to my Cousin Ting, on the Arrival of her Little Princess yesterday morning. =D I was rather shock and surprised upon receiving her sms… because we were still chatting online the day before her delivery and had mentioned that her little girl’s estimated arrival would be 1-2 weeks time?! But, WA-LA, her girl pops out yesterday morning. Haha! A huge surprise for all of us… =) Anyway, Cousin Ting, do take good good care of yourself and your little princess. You have done a great job, so… rest well. =) In a month time or so, it will be my turn… delivery process really sounds like a nightmare to me. =/ Besides congratulating my cousin, I would like to also thank a good friend of mine… Thank You for the Hamper you sent me last Saturday. =D  I still thought you were kidding me, till I receive a phone call from the florist regarding the hamper delivery time. =x I am very thankful for your care, concern and your little gesture. We shall meet up soon for a simple meal or coffee. ;) ____________________________________________________________________ Back to usual stuffs... Yesterday, I broke my own record… I went shopping alone in town for 3.5hours without resting my legs. Its like ever since I got pregnant, the longest time I ever managed to walk around with my belly is about 1.5hours. But to my surprise... I managed to walk around alone for freaking 3.5hours! I happily complained to my Dummy that my legs are aching upon his return from work and his expression was… “*^$*^%(*(*^#*$^#*$&, you still dare to tell me you went out alone?!!” Haha! Still, very nice of my Dummy, he helped me massage my legs for a little while. Hehe! Lucky me, I didn’t get nagged by Dummy last night… because I splurged on Doudou stuffs again, when Dummy always wanted me to get new clothing for myself instead. I only managed to show Dummy a few of my shopping loots and off he walked away from me, as if he met a ghost. -.-||| Seriously, Doudou’s stuffs is piling up, there isn’t much space left to keep his stuffs already. But still, I kept having the feeling that I missed-out buying something, something that Doudou will need to use. Hence I cannot deny this... Yes, I am afraid that my Doudou have insufficient clothes to wear, insufficient napkins to use, etc. LOL! I cannot resist and bought a few more pieces of clothing and items to add on to the piling stack… From OG Sales  Baby Disney Romper @ $9.90 3pc Baby Clothing @ $12.00 2 set of Owen Burp Cloth @ $6.30 2 pc of Owen Receiving Blanket @ $7.90I also bought other items like Pigeon Diaper Liner, 100 sheets @ $7.50, Pigeon Nose Cleaner @ $3.90, Pre-folded Pinless Knitted Diaper @ $4.00. To my knowledge, OG is currently having its Anniversary Sales hence most items are on discount from 10-20%. Takashimaya is also having its Mid-Autumn Sale, discount ranging from 10-30%?! So dear friends and mommies you might want to check out the prices first at either OG or Taka before purchasing the items you wish to purchase. And oh, I happened to walk pass Isetan too, they are currently having Sales also.. but I'm not so sure about their discount range. Here, let me reveal Doudou's little corner, his piling stack of stuffs...  It's loaded with clothings & items bought from me, my Mommy & Daddy, dot Doudou de many Ahyi(s) & uncle, clothes given by Yiling, little Darius's Mommy... and alot more to mention. LOL!
So far, still lack of a Baby Cot and Stroller for Doudou and we are almost ready to receive Doudou's Arrival. =) Any kind souls would like to contribute? Teehees. =p Throughout my whole pregnancy process, I think the most enjoyable part is shopping and buying stuffs for Doudou. As my belly grow bigger and bigger, Doudou's kicks get stronger and stronger... all this makes me realized the happiness and unhappiness of being a mommy. The privileges and difficulties of being a pregnant lady. Most importantly, I get to learn and understand the greatness of being a mommy. For all the efforts and sacrifices one is very willing to make for the sake of its child. I used to be a rather selfish type of girl... in the past while I was working, I won't deny that I tend to see that monthly shopping and self-satisfying to fulfill my own contentment is so much more important than giving home allowance to my mother, even when I know that she's in need that small portion of monthly income. I never tried to understand why my parents is able to sacrifice so much so willingly. They always scrimp and save on their daily life's expenses, like food and clothing just to provide us with the extra cash we need. Now that I am a soon-to-be mommy of my own, I finally understand the greatness in my parents, their never ending care and concern, their huge sacrifices made is all for the sake of me and my sis's well-being. Just like now, the way I sacrifice very willingly for my little Doudou. =] My BIG Belly @ 30weeks 6days   Something rather cute and funny to share with you about my little Doudou before I end today's post... The other night I was resting in bed, while Dou Daddy busy digging out coins from his wallet, then he took a 50cents coin and placed it on my belly, saying "Doudou, you see, Daddy give you 50cents to put in your piggy bank ok?" And Doudou responded by moving a little in my womb... Then Dou Daddy continued, placing a dollar coin on my belly and asked... "Or Doudou, Daddy give you 1dollar instead of 50cents? Or you want both 1dollar and 50cents?" And then Doudou kicks harder in my womb then before... till Dou Daddy removed 1dollar coin and placed it back on my belly again... Doudou kicks vigorously lor. -.-||| Immediately I yelled at Dou Daddy... "You see lar, anyhow teach your son, Doudou haven't come out already so money-minded." *Shake Head* And oh, I think when Doudou is out, he will have the keen-to-learn character... not those music talented kind. The reason why I come to such conclusion is because the other day while I waiting for my turn for checkup at my Gynae's, there's a pregnant woman switching the 'ABC-learning application' on her Iphone to her 2year old son to play. While her son presses, any of the alphabets, there will be melody coming out... going 'A', 'B', 'C' or 'D'... somehow I think the melody amuses Doudou cause each time the little boy presses the key, Doudou keeps kicking... till the little boy accompanied his mommy into the Gynae's room.. then Doudou stop kicking. But the moment the boy is out with the 'ABC' melody, he starts kicking again. LOL!! How funny. So I mentioned this to my mom and sis, and both went to bought Doudou music stuffs. My Sis bought Doudou a Musical Box to hang in the stroller/playpen/crib... it will produce music when you pull the string. And my Mom bought Doudou a Ultra-man Electric Lantern that will produce music too when you on it. Both bought home and keeps playing with it near my belly while I was seating the sofa watching TV... but Doudou only moves a little and completely got no respond after that.. no matter how my Mom and Sis keeps poking my belly, calling him. >.<''' The Lantern my Mom bought is really cute... I hanged it by my room's window and it seems to be always targeting me. LOL!  All in all, real funny and cute to me, I felt about my Doudou. Hahas! My little Doudou knows how to respond to the surrounding noise and can even recognized us calling him 'Doudou'. =] Ahh... my precious son, we are all anticipating for your arrival. =D xoxo, a lifetime promise Saturday, September 19, 2009

at 1:24:00 PMI have been feeling too lazy and moody lately, this explain why I haven't been updating my blog since last Monday. Although I am still feeling lazy and moody, plus a little unwell now... I insist to drag myself up to at least update a little. It's because I've got lot of things to update and share with you peeps, especially updates on my little Doudou, for I know there's a couple of dear friends whom are always excited and worry on my Doudou's progress. =) So, allow me to continue from last Monday's blog entry, I was mentioning that Dummy and I are heading out for a movie session... I treated my Dummy to watch 3D G-Force, though it's a little expensive for the 3D effect but I think it's a good try, in the sense that I wouldn't waste my money on the 3D effects in the future again. LOL! I must say, my experience proves me that 3D effect really sucks. There wasn't really much effect on the movie, and that freaking big 3D-effect specs makes me feel so uncomfortable throughout the movie, so uncomfortable till I have to hold the specs myself throughout. And the best part was at the end of the movie, it makes me feel giddy for the whole night. >.<''' The whole thing make me felt like a stupid, because it seems more like I am wasting the additional money to torture myself rather than enjoy. What's more, Dummy didn't really enjoy the 3D effects, he was complaining the movie makes him felt giddy too. Anyway, after the movie session we went to shopped a little while at Plaza Sing, bought a little food to store home from Carrefour and then we headed to Marina Barrage to enjoy the night breeze for a little while. Come to think of it... I asked myself when was the last time I went Marina Barrage together with Dummy. Hms... It's been more than half a year already. And the last time we went was actually our first time there together. Teehees. Let the picture speaks... Half a year ago...     Half a year later...         See the huge difference? Time really fly man. Half a year ago I was still so slim, I would still bother to doll up when going out, can wear my favorite shorts and pumps. Half a year later, I'm carrying a big belly with me, too lazy to doll up... and can only wear that limited amount of clothes out. LOL!! This is life, my life how amazing. =D And since the day I met Dummy, I must say I really am fortunate... because with him around, I always get to enjoy good food. Wahahahahahaas! So on last Thursday, Dummy brought me, his mom, sis and cousin for a Buffet Dinner at Hilton Hotel (if I didn't remember wrongly), they were having Japanese Cuisine in their menu for that night. It tasted so much nicer and tastier compared to the previous Buffet we went, even though the variety is lesser. And this time, we both agreed and went for the Buffet Dinner because the both of us only need to fork out 25bucks to enjoy the sumptuous dinner. Hehe! Many thanks to sis-in-law. The both of us after the Dinner...  with our tummy filled full with yummy food. Hehes.Getting to eat so many tasty and yummy food, the poor mommy, which is me, didn't really gain much weight because I still look so skinny besides my growing tummy. Rather, my little Doudou have gained quite a lot. He's currently weighting 1.4kg according to my Gynae on Wednesday's visit, 16th Sep. Compare to the previous visit, our Ah Dou here have gained approximately 600g? This proves that he has been absorbing real good and lots of nutrients from the food I intake daily ya?! LOL! And on Wednesday, at my Gynae's Clinic, we finally get to see our little Doudou in 3D scan. =) I still remember the night before the appointment I keep talking to Ah Dou while rubbing my belly, telling him to be a good boy, not to hide his cute little face again... because mommy and daddy so wanna see his cute little face. Good enough, mommy's little good boy finally revealed half of his face at the very last moment. LOL!  So who do you think our little Doudou looks alike to? More to his mommy or his daddy?Day by day, I am getting more and more scare but excited to see my little gem. Scare because I am afriad of the labour pain. I don't know if I am able to tolerate or not... was told by my Gynae it would be very painful, was asked to get mentally prepared.. everyday to think of nothing else but pain to psycho myself and get ready for the day to arrive. Hms... Pain.. Pain.. Pain...!! o.0 Anyway, right after my Gynae's appointment on Wednesday, Dummy and I changed our initial plan to rest at Sembawang home till dinner time to have dinner with my parents before we come back to Serangoon home. Instead, we came straight back to Serangoon home and get prepared to go out again... because Dummy had an appointment at 5pm to sign bond for his new job. =) Yeah! Finally, after months of job hunting, Dummy finally got this Network Operator? job at NCS Hub. Thus we change plan and head down to Bugis to shop a little, while waiting for the appointed time to meet Dummy's Agent to sign the bond, then head back to Sembawang to meet my parents for dinner. With a new job Dummy had gotten himself, we then dare to spend a little more than we usually would, and again, I went to bought more clothes for our little Doudou, while Dou Daddy got himself 2 pair of new pants for work, dried food for both our mommy. And as for me, I only bought myself sour plum for that day. >.<''' Sad hor?! No choice big belly, a lot of things cannot wear. Movement also got so restricted that I couldn't tolerate long hours of shopping. Hence after buying a few stuffs, Dummy went for his appointment while I waited for him at Parco Bugies JCo Cafe. Again, I went to get myself some food to eat. LOL! It's really like father like son thingy.. Since I got pregnant, I super love to eat sweet stuff, especially desserts. Ice cream lar, chocolate, cakes... etc.. etc.. All are Dou Daddy's favorite but not me. I only love to eat bitter chocolate before I was pregnant. LOL! But now, I can keep eating non-stop, even when I felt full but upon seeing those creamy nice cakes and goodies, I cannot help myself with more servings. >.<''' Too bad, now that Dou Daddy started work, I will get to eat as much as before already. Hahas. It's the 2nd day today. I can sense myself getting more and more clingy to Dummy. Maybe because for the past weeks he have been so free to hang around my side, to disturb me, irritate me, entertain me, say me and most importantly curing all my cravings, preparing my meals for me. Now that Dummy is away at work, he will have lesser time for me. I can feel the misses that's growing in me, every minute and second. Always checking on the clock waiting for the time to strike 6pm. That's the time that Dummy will knock off from work, then I'll get to enjoy or the privileges again. =p Cannot wait for Dummy to be home soon, cause later tonight he will be bringing me to the John Little Mega Sale Fair at Expo. =) Shall end my entry with... at 2:27:00 PMI have been mad crazy over the HK drama series that I borrowed from my Aunt... So much so that I can watch it through day and night and have managed to finished up the whole 30++ episodes within days. Hehes! Terrible, ain't I? =p Anyway, over the past week, some unhappy incidents happened and it causes the both of us, me and Dummy to be so upset over it... Fortunately, its over now. =) Had my weekends spent over at my Sembawang house. I really enjoyed myself back there, because all I need/want, I can just "Mommy, mommy!". Hehes! Moreover, my Dummy make himself available to keep me company too, even though we merely just watch the HK Drama for the whole day long. It's enough to make me feel the happiness all over me. And in order to show my appreciation for what Dummy have contributed to my great weekends, I decided to treat him for movie later. Teehees! Actually part of the fact is because months back, I promised Dummy that I will treat him for a movie, but... I always don't have the chance to do so, hence I am making it up today. =) It's been a long long time since the both of us went town to 'Pak-tor' together liao. Just in case Dummy managed to get a new job (in pretty soon time), which means Dummy will be busier than before and we'll have lesser time alone to spend together before our little Doudou is out. Now, back at Serangoon house waiting for my Dummy to finish his 2nd Interview at NCS Hub. I'm gonna go get myself prepared for later. =D By the way, "Good luck to you Dummy, for your interview today at NCS Hub. I know for sure, NCS will be very keen to employ you, for you're Angeline's great hubby. =X" Wahahhahahas! I so bu yao nian, indirectly praising myself. Hehes. Alright, ending here for today.
