I am so much better now...

Thanks for all the care and concern from all my dear friends, especially the 3 Dou Ahyi, whom find time to come visit me bringing along the tonics and nutritious food. =)

I bet some of you must be wondering what's gotten me so sick that I had to be admitted to hospital the previous, previous week.

Well, I was actually down with virus infection that causes me to had high fever till 39.8 degree (if I didn't remember wrongly) and then my whole belly was soooo HOT that I started to feel some cramps at my tummy area... what frighten me most was, Doudou stopped kicking. I told my parents and off they rush me to the hospital.

At the hospital, the GP gave me medicine for fever, took my blood and urine test then sent me for CTG scan, 30-45 minutes later, I was told by the nurses that I am having contractions. They then phoned my Gynae and was asked to be given some medication to stop the contraction and had to be admitted for further monitoring, as they suspect I might be having Pre-term Labour.

I was only discharged 2 days later, after the cramps and fever were gone. But poor me, I was given 2 bags full of medicines, there were iron tablets as well cause they found out from my blood test report that my red blood cells is relatively low. Very, very awful that I had to take so many medicines, for weeks some more. =(

Anyway, I went for my monthly check-up at my Gynae's clinic just last week. As usual, did routine scanning and stuffs... Doudou is currently weighing 2.4kg and is growing very well in my belly. The moment I heard 2.4kg, I was like...


I was still worrying he might have lose some weight due to me begining so sick and lost of appetite. But no... I was wrong, though I lost some kilos due to the fever and all, but my Doudou still gained a wooping 1 kilo during a month, he's been growing real well in me. I guess my Gynae was rather shocked too that he asked me try not to eat soooo much. LOL! And told me that I shall continue with all my medication and try to keep Doudou in my womb till he's over 35 weeks old.

Both Daddy and mommy, including me and Dummy, we all got freak-out after this incident. We start rushing like mad cow to get ready for Doudou's arrival. I know it's a little to early but still me and mommy is starting to dig out all Doudou's clothes to wash liao. We are all worrying that anytime, Doudou might call to come earth. I had to start packing the room (more, more space for Dooudou) and my hospital bag too. Luckily, the other time I had ask from Jeanette Mommytobe for the hospital bag list. Hehe!

I really gotta thank my parents and especially my Dummy for taking good care of me throughout the whole week while I was sick. I guess Dummy was the most tired one among us all, because the week while I was sick, he had been working for more than 7 days with 12 hour shift work and on the other hand he was rushing to complete his FYP, yet when he had the time to rest... he received calls that I was in hospital and he rushed to the hospital to look for me without much delay. Dummy even took a day leave, still waking up very early in the morning just to keep me company during my stay @ the hospital... attending to my needs every minute.

I guess this life, the best-est thing that ever comes across my life so far is Dummy! He's the best-est thing I ever have so far.
